The project is located in Thiruverumbur, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, and is being developed for the Olympic Academic Tiruchirappalli. Spread across a sprawling 3,84,000 Sq.ft. (8.82 Acres) of land, the master plan envisions a world-class sports and education campus that seamlessly integrates high-performance athletic infrastructure with advanced academic facilities. Currently in the proposed stage, the development is conceived to set new benchmarks in sports-education infrastructure in India.
The Olympic Sport Academic, Trichy is envisioned as a world-class hub for nurturing future athletes and scholars, blending high-performance sporting infrastructure with top-tier academic excellence. Designed as a first-of-its-kind destination in India, the institution aims to redefine how education and sports can co-exist, shaping individuals into champions both on the field and in life.

At the heart of the master plan lies a state-of-the-art cricket stadium, capable of hosting large-scale tournaments, alongside an Olympic-standard athletic track integrated with a central football field—ensuring multipurpose utility for training and competitive events. The campus further boasts a dedicated football ground built to FIFA specifications and a professional cycling velodrome, supporting disciplines often underserved in conventional academies.
To diversify training opportunities, the campus includes multiple outdoor courts for tennis, basketball, and volleyball, complemented by specialized indoor sports arenas for badminton, gymnastics, martial arts, and table tennis. This year-round accessibility ensures athletes can train consistently, regardless of weather conditions.
Beyond the sports facilities, athlete residences and academic blocks are thoughtfully designed and strategically placed to foster accessibility, comfort, and a strong sense of community. The residential hostels ensure athletes live in a nurturing environment, while the academic buildings provide access to modern classrooms, research spaces, and digital learning hubs—ensuring intellectual growth goes hand-in-hand with athletic development.
The design philosophy emphasizes functional zoning, smooth circulation, and sustainable practices—including energy-efficient buildings, water management systems, and preservation of open green areas. The master plan strikes a fine balance between built infrastructure and nature, creating an inspiring environment that motivates athletes to strive for excellence.
